The 25th Annual Conference
on the Fantastic in the Arts was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, March
24-28, 2004.
Considered the most important academic fantasy and sci-fi convention in the world, its 25th edition welcomed some 350 academics, scholars, editors and authors, who discussed and analized the many faces of fantasy. Daína Chaviano became the first Hispanic American author invited as Guest of Honor.
