A poetically-charged novel with an original structure: three parallel
plots developing in different planes of space and time, where fantasy is
simply an excuse to postulate the contradictions and conflicts that must
be faced in changing social and moral situations. The characters, who can
be fanciful winged beings, Medieval warriors or simply young people of
the 20th Century, belong to worlds and civilizations that are totally diverse,
biologically as well as socially. But they’re linked by their search for
themselves…This novel is an important contribution to the development of
Cuban science fiction.
