Melisa, the
novel’s heroine, is a young woman who wants to be a writer. One day, she
thinks up a character without a body or a face: a shadow that, little by
little, becomes an obsession. It appears to her in dreams and visions,
until Melisa begins to suspect she’s dealing with a living entity. Who
could it be? Why does it attempt to approach her? What does it want to
reveal?
A hallucinating
event, hidden within a remote past, could be the link connecting her to
this invisible being. Soon, the exploration of this event will bring her
to another, another, and yet another one, in an endless labyrinth of legends,
mythical empires and magical, clouded forces that only answer to forgotten
laws...
